CT Scans
Meadowview Regional Medical Center has a 64-slice computed tomography (CT) scanner in a large, comfortable suite. The 64 Slice CT allow scans to be completed more quickly, helping you get back to what matters most.
MRI
Our magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine has a 1.5 Tesla magnet.
Nuclear Medicine
Meadowview Regional Medical Center's nuclear medicine program covers both general and cardiac nuclear medicine, as well as therapy procedures. This includes, but not limited to:

3D Mammography
Meadowview Regional Medical Center offers 3D digital mammography, certified by the FDA through the Mammography Quality Standards Act and accredited by the American College of Radiology. 3D digital mammography gives physicians a clearer view of structures inside the breast, making diagnosis of breast cancers possible even at their earliest stages.

Ultrasound
Meadowview Regional Medical Center provides imaging for breast and general ultrasounds. Our Ultrasound machine feature advanced technology that captures extraordinary images for routine or difficult exams. When needed, aspirations and biopsies can be done as well. Patients experience same-day services, private ultrasound rooms and warm ultrasound gel. Advanced interventional procedures are performed daily to meet to needs of our patients. We provide the following services:

- Thoracentesis/Paracentesis
Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology
From routine X-rays on broken bones to interventional procedures such as angiography and stent placements, Meadowview Regional Medical Center's diagnostic and interventional radiology program offers the full spectrum of imaging.
Bone Density Screening Osteoporosis is common and a serious condition that affects both women and men. There are risk factors that can be controlled. However, as with any condition, talk with your healthcare provider so you can develop a plan to protect your bones.
Who should be screened?
- Women 65 and over and Men 70 and over
- Anyone over 50 who breaks a bone
- Menopausal women with risk factors
- Men between 50 and 69 with risk factors
- Anyone who has experienced loss of height
Osteoporosis risk factors include:
- Low bone density
- Low body weight
- Family history of fractures or a previous fracture
- Smoking
- Sedentary lifestyle
- Three or more alcohol drinks per day
- Long term use of steroids and some medications
Other procedures available include:
- Arthrograms
- Hip/Joint Injections
- Digital Radiology
- Fluoroscopy
- IVC filter placements
- Non-Cardiac Angiography
- Stent Placements
A dedicated interventional suite is available for any patients who require invasive procedures that utilize sedation.
